RigCast Terms of Use
Advisory only
RigCast estimates weather and road risk along a route and offers a suggested verdict (such as Go, Caution, Wait, or Shut Down). These are estimates based on third-party forecasts and models. Conditions can change quickly and can differ from any forecast. Always confirm conditions with official sources (such as state DOT / 511 services and the National Weather Service) and your own observation before and during a trip.
No warranty
The app and its data are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Weather, routing, and map data come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RigCast and its developer are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, citation, or other harm arising from use of, or reliance on, the app or its information. Your use of RigCast is at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Do not interact with the app while driving in a way that distracts you from operating your vehicle safely. Use hands-free and voice features responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.
User content and community rules
RigCast includes the CB road feed, where drivers post reports that are visible to other drivers. You are solely responsible for what you post, and your posts must comply with these rules.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not post content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or that contains slurs, or that infringes anyone's rights or privacy. You may not impersonate others or post spam.
You can report a post or block a driver from within the app. We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at any time and without notice, for violating these rules. Reports are reviewed and acted on, and content flagged by enough drivers is removed automatically. By posting, you agree to these rules. To report content or conduct, use the in-app controls or email support@rigcast.app.
RigCast does not endorse and is not responsible for user-generated content; road reports are unverified and you should always confirm conditions yourself.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled and how to delete your account.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes are reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
