What is RigCast?
RigCast is a weather and road-risk app built for trucks. You give it your route and your truck, and it reads the weather and road conditions along the way and gives you one clear call: go, slow down, wait, or shut down. It factors your trailer and load into the math, so an empty reefer and a loaded one don't get the same answer.
How does the Go / Caution / Wait / Shut Down verdict work?
For each leg of your route, RigCast looks at the forecast and road conditions for that stretch — wind and crosswind, ice and snow, visibility, flooding — and weighs them against your truck and load. It rolls those up into one verdict:
- GO — conditions look clear for your truck.
- CAUTION — something to watch; ease off and stay sharp.
- WAIT — conditions are bad enough to hold or time your run.
- SHUT DOWN — conditions are dangerous; park it.
Each verdict comes with the reason in one line, so you know what drove the call. Want to see how it rates specific scenarios? Check the risk calibration page.
Why is my first conditions check slow?
The backend that scores your route sleeps when it's idle on its current hosting tier. The first check after a stretch of inactivity has to wake it up, which can take 30–60 seconds. Once it's awake, the next checks are fast. If a check seems stuck, give it a moment and try again.
How do I report or block content on the CB road feed?
The CB road feed is posted by other drivers. On any post that isn't yours, you'll see a control to Report the post or Block the driver. Reported posts are reviewed and removed if they violate the rules; blocking a driver hides their posts from you. We want the feed useful and clean, so flag anything that doesn't belong.
How do I delete my account?
